How to get Team 2 cards — Packs vs SBC vs Objectives

The 32-card main squad drops into promo packs starting at 18:00 UK. Expect the Rare Players Pack pool and the 87+ x1 Player Pick to include Team 2 immediately. The remaining 12 players are gated behind Objectives and SBCs that stagger across the week — sources indicate Konaté, Kimmich and Woltemade will be Objective grinds, while high-value SBC targets typically go live on the Sunday and Monday after launch.

Team 1 recap — what the 97s already look like

Team 1 dropped a week ago and the ceiling is genuinely brutal. If Team 2 tracks anything close to these Team 1 numbers, you're going to want to hold onto every 84+ pack you crack this weekend.

Notice how Team 1 balances hybrid league chemistry — Messi and Neymar in Ligue 1, Van Dijk in EPL, Reijnders in Serie A. Team 2 is skewed heavier toward EPL (Haaland, Salah, Rice, Raphinha, Gabriel) so most casual squads will natively pick up 6+ chemistry links to at least two Team 2 cards on day one.

Prep strategy before 18:00 UK

You've got a few hours. Here's what actually moves the needle:

• Do NOT finish the last Team 1 SBC segments unless you already have the fodder — Team 1 has 24 hours left before its dedicated SBCs expire, and Team 2 releases in parallel. Splitting fodder across two Teams is how people burn 2M coins with nothing to show for it.
• Park your 84+ TOTS/RTTK stack — you'll want 8–12 clean 87+ rated fodder cards for the day-one Team 2 SBCs. Untradeables from Weekly Rewards are ideal.
