Multiplayer 6 Program Overview

The 6th Inning of MLB The Show 25 has arrived, introducing an exciting new multiplayer program! This program features a variety of new player cards and two new bosses waiting to be unlocked for players who reach World Series status in Ranked mode. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer, there’s plenty of new content to enhance your team.

The Multiplayer 6 program consists of a series of challenges spread across two drops, just like its predecessors. This means that you won’t be able to access all the rewards immediately. Completing the first drop will earn you a total of 75 Multiplayer 6 program stars, which gets you halfway through, alongside two brand-new player cards to integrate into your lineup.

New Players in Multiplayer 6

As soon as you achieve five program stars, you'll receive a remarkable Robb Nen 98 overall card as the Marlins' closer. Known for his vicious fastball exceeding 102 MPH, Nen's splitter will definitely keep batters off-balance, making him a strong choice for late innings in Ranked games. He pairs perfectly with a crafty junkball starter like Kershaw or Valenzuela, further strengthening your team's rotation.

Upon reaching the 50 program stars milestone, you’ll unlock Robin Yount, a 99 overall shortstop from the Brewers. Yount shines with exceptional contact and vision stats, although his power attributes are moderate. He also boasts solid defensive ratings, making him well-suited as a gold caliber defender. However, do note that this card is strictly limited to the shortstop position and designated hitter roles.

In the second drop, players can expect to unlock a World Series Rewind player at 90 stars, along with another player card that is yet to be announced at 100 stars. The excitement continues as new challenges emerge!

New World Series Players

Although these new cards are not part of the Multiplayer program, additional World Series cards have also been introduced. If you can reach a Ranked rating of 800 or higher, you’ll be given a choice between a starting pitcher and a legendary right fielder.

Among the new offerings is Clay Buchholz, a 99 overall starter from the Boston Red Sox, featuring his famous No-Hitter card from 2007. Buchholz achieved this feat during his second big league start against the Orioles, making it a special addition for collectors and players alike. His high Hits/9 rating of 116, alongside solid Clutch at 111, make him an appealing option for any rotation, especially with his effective sinker-cutter combo.

Accompanying Buchholz is Larry Walker, a legendary player whose Nationals Silver Slugger card showcases impressive contact and above-average power. With high vision stats and diamond-level defense, Walker is an outstanding choice for those looking to boost their offense while maintaining defensive solidity.

As the 6th Inning program unfolds, players can expect an influx of new content and updates in MLB The Show 25. With the constant evolution of the game, don’t miss out on opportunities to strengthen your team and elevate your gameplay experience.
