How Long is Genshin Impact Maintenance?

The maintenance for Version 5.7 began on June 18th at 06:00 (UTC+8) and is anticipated to last about 5 hours. Players should plan accordingly and check back often to see when the servers are back online.

Player Compensation (Get Free Primogems!)

During the maintenance period, players will be compensated with:

• 300 Primogems (60 Primogems for every hour of server downtime)
• 300 Primogems (for issue fixes)

This gives a total of 600 Primogems. Players who have reached Adventure Rank 5 or higher by June 18th at 06:00 (UTC+8) can claim their compensation via in-game mail. Be sure to claim it within 30 days before it disappears, or by June 21st at 06:00 (UTC+8).

New and Returning Characters in Version 5.7

The update introduces a fantastic new 5-Star character, Skirk, a Cryo Sword user known for her impressive DPS potential. Skirk excels in both on-field damage output and quick-swap rotations. Be sure to check out our detailed guide on how to maximize her performance!

Players can look forward to acquiring the new limited-time 5-Star Sword named Azurelight, which will be available through the Weapon Event Wish. Don’t miss out on this chance to enhance your gameplay!

New Main Story and Quests

Version 5.7 also introduces the next chapter of the Archon Quest in Chapter V: Act VI, titled “A Space and Time for You.” Players must be Adventure Rank 28 or higher and have completed prior Archon Quests to access it. If you're eager to dive in, consider using the “Focused Experience Mode” to expedite your leveling process.

Skirk’s own Story Quest, “Crystallina Chapter: Act I – Whispers Betwixt Stars and Night,” will also be permanently available. Players need to be Adventure Rank 40 or above, and have completed the previous Archon Quest: Chapter IV: Act V “Masquerade of the Guilty.” This quest also offers the “Focused Experience Mode” for convenience.

Note: Mobile players will need to select their preferred resource update option: Full Resources or Basic Resources. The game is getting bigger, but it's hard to resist the captivating gameplay!
