Greats of the Game Team 2 has dropped, and three new ICONs are now grindable as SBCs: Rivellino 96 CAM, Figo 96 RW, and Baresi 95 CB. All three are released as standard ICON SBCs (no Objective, no pack-only). If you stocked fodder for Team 1 and still have leftovers, you can knock at least one of these out this weekend.
Verdict up top: Figo is the No.1 pick. 95 Pace + 96 Dribbling on a RW with 5★ skills and a long PlayStyles+ stack is the most usable card of the three in current meta. Rivellino is the curiosity pick for a CAM hybrid CM; Baresi is a niche pickup for Serie A defenders who already own Maldini or Nesta.
EA dropped these into the Festival of Football: Greats of the Game ICON pool over the last 72 hours. Each comes with its own SBC, no untradeable-pack release, no Objective grind.
| Player | OVR | Position | Release | Method |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Luís Figo | 96 | RW | Jun 19 | SBC |
| Roberto Rivellino | 96 | CAM | Jun 21 | SBC |
| Franco Baresi | 95 | CB | Jun 20 | SBC |

Figo's GotG card is what RW meta looks like right now. 95 Pace, 94 Shooting, 95 Passing, 96 Dribbling, 88 Physical, on a 180cm 5★ skills body. Weak Foot is 4★ but with this dribbling and shooting you barely notice.
The SBC is themed around three career chapters (Sporting → Barcelona → Real Madrid → Inter), each chapter a separate squad. Total fodder load lands around 1.3–1.5M coins at current Tradeable Tots Upgrade prices, with one 88-rated squad and the rest 87s. Doable in a single sitting if you've been collecting fodder for the last two weeks.
If you only do one of the three this weekend, this is the one. Use it RW in 4-3-3 or LW inverted, you cannot misclick this card.

Rivellino comes in at 93 Pace, 94 Shooting, 96 Passing, 96 Dribbling, 80 Physical. Same 96 OVR as Figo, but at CAM with 5★ skills and 5★ weak foot — yes, both feet maxed. That weak foot is the real selling point: very few CAM ICONs in the game are 5/5.
The trade-off is the position itself. CAM is mid-tier meta right now (most players run 4-3-3 with CMs); to get Rivellino on the pitch you'll likely shift him to CM or play 4-2-3-1. He works there, but he's not the no-brainer Figo is.
SBC cost roughly matches Figo's — three to four chapter squads, total around 1.4M coins. If you main CAM or 4-2-3-1 he's worth it. If you don't, hold and wait for Team 3.
Baresi rounds out the trio with a defender card most squads don't need. 91 Pace, 88 Passing, 91 Dribbling, 96 Defense, 93 Physical. The 91 Pace on a 176cm Italian CB is the headline — a top-tier defender body that can actually keep up with promo wingers.
The catch: at 5'9" he is shorter than every other 95+ CB in the game right now, which hurts aerials despite the 93 Physical. He also runs into competition from EOAE Maldini, Nesta, and the Team 1 GotG defenders you may already have done.
SBC total comes in lower than the attackers (about 900K–1.1M coins) because the chapter squads cap at 86 instead of 88. If you don't already own a max-OVR Italian CB and you build a Serie A side, this is your card. Otherwise skip.
Three SBCs back-to-back is roughly 3.5–4M coins of fodder if you do everything. A few cheap places to refill:
Daily and weekly Objectives in the Festival of Football: Home Colours League also drop usable 84+ packs without needing coins — knock those out before grinding the market.
If your fodder pile is deep, the order is Figo > Rivellino > Baresi. Figo is meta now, Rivellino is meta if you main CAM, Baresi is a Serie A theme card. Total spend for all three lands around 3.5–4M coins of fodder — heavy, but spread over the next ten days before Team 3 lands.
If your fodder pile is thin, do Figo only, save the rest for Team 3 (which historically gets the strongest cards in any ICON promo). Team 3 leaks are already pointing at Maradona and Best — if those land, you'll want every coin you can hold onto.
