FUT Champions Tokens vs FoF Tokens — Not the Same Thing

Quick clarification before anything else: FC 26 runs two separate token systems, and mixing them up will cost you rewards.

• Festival of Football (FoF) Tokens — earned through Objectives, SBCs, and general gameplay. Hard cap of 1,000 per week, max 5,000 across the entire event. Spent in the main FoF Token Store.
• FUT Champions Tokens — earned exclusively through Weekend League placements. No weekly cap — save them across multiple weekends and go big on higher-tier rewards. Spent in a dedicated Champs Token Store.

The Champs store is entirely separate. Tokens from WL do not flow into your FoF pool, and vice versa. Plan accordingly.

How to Earn FUT Champions Tokens

You earn Champs Tokens purely through Weekend League results. Better placement = more tokens per run. There is no shortcut — you cannot buy them with FC Points or coins, and Objectives won't fill this bucket.

Since there is no weekly cap on Champions Tokens, the play is simple: if you're a consistent WL player grinding top placements, bank tokens aggressively for the highest-cost rewards instead of cashing out early on smaller prizes.

Where to Spend: The Honest Recommendation

If you have 2,500+ tokens: go straight for the Player Evolution upgrade. This is the highest-ceiling reward in the entire Champs store right now — it pushes an already strong promo card to 96 OVR through a multi-stage evolution path. No brainer if you can get there.

If you have 750–1,500 tokens: the 85+ ×3 Player Pick gives you reliable fodder for TOTS SBCs without burning pack luck on randomised packs. In the current meta where 87+ fodder is running 15–20K per card, three guaranteed 85+ OVR cards is real value.

If you're short on tokens (under 500): don't cash out on coins. That 75,000 coins for 500 tokens is a laughably bad rate — you'd make more coins by using those 500 tokens on the 85+ player pick and lazy selling the outputs. Keep banking.

FoF Tokens — Separate Budget, Same Logic

Your FoF Tokens are capped at 1,000 per week (max 5,000 total across the event). Spend them separately in the main FoF store — don't confuse progress between the two pools. The FoF store rotation updates weekly, so check it Monday after reset to catch new items before they cycle out.

Best consistent pickup in the FoF store: the weekly player SBC discount voucher (if available) and any 87+ guaranteed picks. Avoid the straight coin conversions there too — same terrible logic applies.
