What You’ve Told Us

• Many players have expressed that defending against skilled dribblers can be extremely challenging, particularly due to their agile movements resulting in numerous goal-scoring opportunities.

What We’ve Done So Far

We have listened to your concerns regarding defending and made targeted adjustments in FC 26 version 1.0.4:

• Resolved instances where players were unable to perform physical tackles under certain conditions, particularly those with specific PlayStyles, such as the Bruiser.

• We are enhancing jockeying responsiveness to improve your defensive play.

• Players have noted that defenders often leave attackers too much space during kick-offs, leading to excessive scoring from these situations.

What We’ve Done So Far

We initiated updates to kick-off scenarios in version 1.0.3:

• The defending team's positioning has been adjusted to be more compact immediately following a kick-off.

What We’re Doing Next

• Further improvements to AI defensive positioning during kick-offs will be made.

Expect to see significant changes targeting more aggressive marking tactics from defenders in upcoming updates to mitigate goal threats due to poor kick-off positioning.
