In FC 26 Champions – also known as the “Weekend League” – you can earn a plethora of exciting rewards. The fundamental rule is: the more matches you win, the better your rewards will be. Similar to previous years, the developers have made adjustments to the Champions rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about the Weekend League Rewards in FC 26.
The extensive changes in the FC 26 Champions mode also affect the Weekend League rewards. One of the most noticeable changes is that there are now 15 ranks in UT Champions (which is roughly equivalent to the total number of previous Playoffs and Finals). These 15 ranks are visually and nominally divided into three categories: "Contender", "Champion", and "Elite", which indicates a general improvement in the reward quality - typically an extra reward item. However, a closer comparison reveals that EA has indeed reduced the overall rewards. Last year, the top rank featured nine TOTW players, a base Icon, two 89+ Rare Players, ten 85+ Rare Players, ten 84+ Rare Players, thirty 82+ Rare Players, 200,000 coins, alongside a celebration and a club nickname. In FC 26 Champions, the top rank rewards have been scaled down to just three TOTW players, two current event players, three 88+ Rare Players, two sets of ten 84+ Rare Players, and 85,000 coins. Overall, while the quality may have improved for some rewards, the quantity has noticeably decreased, especially regarding the coins. The silver lining is that there are now more tradeable rewards overall.
Even though EA has overhauled the Champions mode in FC 26, the fundamental principle remains largely unchanged. This means that to receive your UT Champions rewards, you first need to qualify for the Champions mode and then score as many wins as possible in the maximum of 15 matches. Just like last year, each win grants you a point, moving you up the rank and rewards ladder. Therefore, the more wins/points you earn, the better your rewards.
The timing for receiving your earned Champions rewards has not changed with FC 26. Accordingly, you will receive your Weekend League rewards based on the rank you achieved, instantly after completing the maximum number of matches (15). However, if you do not complete all 15 matches for any reason, you will have to wait longer. Since there is no option to quit early and collect your rewards immediately, you will have to wait until the Weekend League officially concludes, which is always Monday morning at 8:59 AM. Keep in mind that failing to play all 15 matches may cause you to miss out on better rewards.
Yes, it is possible in FC 26 to save your earned pack rewards from the Champions mode to open them at a later time. This method is popular among players who wish to pull special cards during specific events. However, be cautious: this only works for packs that contain random player cards. For packs with defined players, such as the Ratings Reload Pack or the TOTW Pack, the players inside are always limited to those available at the corresponding time.
Fortunately, there is a positive development here, as EA has responded to player feedback by making more Weekend League rewards tradable again. This is not the case for all rewards; especially at lower tiers (Contender), most rewards are not tradable. However, as you progress up the ranks, the number of tradeable items increases.
Yes, you can collect your Weekend League rewards via the EA FC 26 Web App and Companion App, allowing you to open and manage them conveniently.
