That 96 Passing is the headline stat — it's the highest of any CM in this Path to Glory batch and puts him in the conversation with the best midfielders in the game right now. The CM++ position means you can also deploy him as CAM without needing a Evo or chemistry tweak.

At ~600–650K in fodder, it's not cheap. But if you're missing a world-class creative midfielder and have the fodder sitting idle, this is the SBC to burn it on.

He's slightly cheaper than Ødegaard (~550K) and arguably more impactful in meta 4-3-3 wide systems. If you play with a LW/LM, Gakpo is legitimately the best value in Team 2.

The problem? 81 Shooting makes him a dead end in overlapping runs, and there are already strong meta RB options at similar price points. If your RB slot is sorted, save the fodder.

Gakpo is a 95-rated LM at a similar price point with better shooting and dribbling. If you need a left attacker, Gakpo is just the superior choice. Hold your fodder.
