FC 26 Festival of Football Tokens Guide — How to Earn & Spend Them (June 2026)

TOTS is over. The grind isn't. EA just dropped The World's Game Update on May 28, and with it comes the biggest FUT content wave of the summer: Festival of Football Tokens — a brand-new reward currency you earn by just playing and spend in a dedicated Token Store. No packs needed. No P2W. Seven weeks of content starting June 4. Here's everything you need to know and, more importantly, what's actually worth your time.

What Are Festival of Football Tokens?

They're FC 26's new gameplay-driven currency, introduced with The World's Game Update. EA has confirmed they will not be available in store packs — you can only earn them by playing. That's a meaningful change from the usual promo grind and means patient players who clock their Rivals games will keep up with spenders for once.

How to Earn Festival of Football Tokens

EA confirmed the following earn sources. Tokens stack across all of them — don't sleep on any:

• 🏆 FUT Rivals — earn Tokens through division rank and win bonuses
• ⚔️ FUT Champions / Weekend League — higher finish = more Tokens
• 🤖 Squad Battles — grind-friendly option if you prefer offline
• ⚡ Rush — shorter sessions, still Token-eligible
• 📋 Live Events & Objectives — weekly rotating tasks, some one-time, some repeatable
• 🧩 Selected SBCs — specific challenges will award Tokens on completion

Key rule: Tokens are not in packs. Don't waste coins chasing them. Just play your usual weekly routine and they'll accumulate.

Token Store — What Can You Buy?

The Token Store opens June 4 alongside the Festival. EA has confirmed it will contain players, packs, and the usual FUT rewards. The store will include international promo cards from the 100+ fully licensed national teams in The World's Game Update, as well as new ICONs — Rivellino and Kempes are confirmed additions.

What Should You Do Right Now (May 30)?

• ✅ Don't spend your fodder yet — Festival SBCs will likely need a supply. Hold at least 10–15 decent-rated cards.
• ✅ Knock out any remaining EOAE SBCs before they expire (Salah 96 expires June 12, Griezmann 94 expires June 6).
• ✅ Log in daily from June 4 — Live Event Objectives will have daily and weekly Token earn windows. Missing them is free value left on the table.
• ✅ Keep coins liquid — Once the Token Store is live, promo player prices may spike. Having coins ready means you can act fast on the best value items.
