1.0 Limited Characters

In line with previous CBT sessions, Ellen Joe and Zhu Yuan will be the two limited characters available at launch. Ellen Joe will be accessible at the game's debut, while Zhu Yuan will arrive three weeks later in the game's second phase.

New A-Rank Characters on Release

During the livestream, we also encountered two additional characters: Piper and Lucy. Their gameplay was highlighted, but details were lacking. There are two possibilities:

• They might be limited characters arriving in the 1.1 patch,
• Or they could be new A-Rank characters debuting in the 1.0 patch.

Given the lead-up marketing, we initially speculated they would be limited, but after reassessing the information, it appears both Piper and Lucy will be available at launch as A-Rank characters!

Piper

Piper belongs to the Sons of Calydon faction, categorized as a Physical element character of unknown rarity.

Lucy

Lucy, also part of the Sons of Calydon faction, is a Fire element character in the Support class, also with unknown rarity.

The livestream highlighted many previously unseen characters, including:

Only Soukaku will be playable at launch, while Miyabi returns after being absent in previous CBTs. The others are newcomers with undisclosed names.

Criminal Investigation Special Response Team

From this faction, we are currently familiar with only Zhu Yuan, while other members remain unannounced.

Virtual Idols

This is a fresh faction without any known character names as of yet.

Game Changes and Improvements

• Chapter 2 interlude and Chapter 3 will be available at launch, introducing both Ellen Joe and Zhu Yuan.
• The map of New Eridu has been expanded with new features, including interactive Bangboo seeking help or containing rewards (similar to Honkai: Star Rail). The map has reportedly doubled in size since CBT3.
• The MC's home now includes a second floor for sleeping.
• Players can enhance their Trust with Agents by exploring various locations together.
• Hollow Zero mode now features its own dedicated map.
• The Bangboo banner no longer restricts you to featured characters; you may choose any available as your target summon, including S-Rank ones.
• The 75/25 pity system on Bangboo banners has been removed; you will now always obtain the chosen Bangboo once you hit pity.
• Boopons (summon tickets for Bangboo banners) will now be more accessible from an array of events and progression, enhancing the overall experience.

Events and Rewards (1.0)

Throughout the 1.0 patch, players can acquire an array of rewards by progressing in the game, engaging in global launch events, and participating in various limited-time events. Available rewards include:

• 1600 Polychromes (equivalent to 10 pulls),
• 70 Master Tapes (standard summon tickets),
• 20 Encrypted Master Tapes (rate-up summon tickets),
• 80 Boopons (Bangboo tickets).
