The anticipated FC 26 v1.0.4 update, also known as Title Update 3, is just around the corner. With major gameplay enhancements and bug fixes, this patch promises to significantly improve the gaming experience.
Though the complete patch notes are still pending, early information has emerged, indicating that players can expect important adjustments.
Two key amendments within the patch are particularly noteworthy. Historically, FC 26 defenders with bruisers have not been as effective as players had hoped. This might have influenced many gamers to revert from Advanced Defending back to Tactical Defending.
Fortunately, it seems that the previously lackluster performance was due to a bug now being addressed in the patch. As a result, we can anticipate a resurgence of Advanced Defending strategies in the defensive meta, potentially leading to an increase in the market demand for defenders with this PlayStyle.
Finesse Shots have also been afflicted by significant bugs. Players have experienced instances where their strikers would unexpectedly execute a Trivela instead of the intended finesse move. With v1.0.4, these issues should be resolved, restoring the reliability of finesse shots during gameplay.
At this writing, we do not have an exact date for when the patch will go live. However, based on previous release trends, players can expect the update to be available sometime between October 8 and October 9 across all platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
